About Rong Cheng
Rong Cheng is a chinese restaurant in Syracuse, New York. It is listed at 402 W Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13207, which places it among the local businesses of Syracuse that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Syracuse; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 AMβ10 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. On Thursday Sept 3 went to get food and while waiting someone came in with food they purchased and stated it had maggots in the rice! Everyone in the restaurant demanded their money back!!!! Donβt go there they are selling spoiled food!

My last order was over $30 and most of the food tasted old or had a weird aftertaste. I just hate that I spent so much money on food I donβt even have the stomach to eat. It simply was not fresh. Would love my money back. When I spend my hard-earned money, I expect quality flavor and freshness.

Service: great! Called in for a pick up and they had my food warm and ready! However, I didnβt get any plastic utensils or napkins which was a bit inconvenient since I was rushing to get back to work. Taste: βBoneless spare ribsβ aka C31- rice was good and meat was mediocre. It was bit on the dry side and the sauce was super sweet but overall the dish was okay. This dish came with a fried roll which was pretty yummy! The amount was also nothing to complain about. Honestly I could eat this for 2 meals. Recommend: Yes! For the price, the food was good! I spent about $10.
